Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 4, 2026. abletonlive.net is an independent editorial website. This page explains what information is processed when you read or interact with the site.

Hosting and security

The publication is hosted on Ghost(Pro). Cloudflare provides DNS, HTTPS and security services for the custom domain. Those providers may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamps and security signals needed to deliver and protect the site.

Analytics

The site uses Ghost’s native first-party, cookie-free web analytics. Ghost records page views, traffic sources and unique visitors counted within 24-hour windows so the publication can understand which guides are useful. Analytics requests are sent through abletonlive.net to Ghost’s analytics service. For Ghost(Pro) publications, Ghost states that analytics data is stored in EU regions.

When a signed-in member visits, Ghost may also record the member ID and whether the membership is free or paid so traffic can be viewed by audience type. No Google Analytics, advertising network or other third-party behavioural tracker is intentionally installed by abletonlive.net.

Accounts, newsletters and comments

The site does not require an account to read public guides. If Ghost membership, newsletters or comments are enabled, Ghost may process an email address, subscription status and comment activity so the requested feature can work. Readers should not place passwords, licence keys, private project links or other sensitive information in comments.

Cookies

Ghost and Cloudflare may use cookies or similar storage for essential security, authentication and site functions. Ghost’s native web analytics does not use cookies or persistent browser storage to identify visitors across sessions, browsers or devices. No advertising cookie is intentionally set by abletonlive.net.

Articles link to Ableton documentation, manufacturers and community discussions. Those sites have their own privacy practices. Embedded media may send request information to the provider when it loads; embeds are used only when they add material value to a guide.

Retention and requests

Server logs, security events and first-party analytics are retained according to Ghost(Pro), Ghost Analytics and Cloudflare settings. If a reader submits a correction or comment, the associated information is retained as needed to review the report and maintain the editorial record. A tested direct privacy contact will be added when domain email is configured.

Changes

This policy is revised when analytics settings, memberships, newsletters, advertising or another data-processing feature materially changes. The effective date above changes when a material update is published.
